Big Storm

You may have seen on the weather network today that we were hit by a big storm. We lost power for 4 hours at 1930h. The winds were whipping, the lightning was an incredible show, and the thunder was rolling across the sky. Fortunately, we are at the top of a hill. We never saw the flooding that we saw images of on TV, but we can imagine where it would have flooded.
The only damage around here is the wax dripped all over the carpet.
