Ready for Sleep

Today we set up the babies' crib.  I was hoping to use this convertible crib like a co-sleeper (with it set up more like its toddler daybed form), but we discovered that there was too great of a gap between the mattresses (ours and the crib) due to the structure of both the crib sides and the bed we are using.  Thus, regular crib it is.  Oh well - just one of the many things that is different from our experience with Abi.  They'll have each other to co-sleep with.

Featured in the pictures are the wee creatures I knit for the girls (made up along the drive to Winnipeg from Koigu orphans Abi picked out) and the quilt made by my friend's mom (with the Saggy Baggy Elephant).
